7/13/2023:
!MPORTANT!
For most of June and July Verizon was sending the majority of my incoming calls straight to voice-mail. This would not have been so bad, but the Voice-mail chosen by Verizon had not been set up (Of course, my message was set-up). Many of you Know what happened next, the call was then terminated, and so I could not be reached with a phone call!

I apologize for any inconvenience to my past and potentially new customers!

Luckily all texts seem to have been getting through, and this is how a few of my customers alerted me to the issue. Thank you!

After two false starts and nearly an hour speaking with Verizon, they seem to have my calls ringing through in the proper way with my voice mail ready.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

1/7/2023:  So, so busy these last couple of years!! I heard 70% of city dwellers who moved out of the city, moved into Vermont these last few years. I have no problem believing that. More washer and drier moves than ever before!

Working with some new carpenters has been good. Scheduling has been further out and ASAP / emergency calls have been harder to accomodate. I try to balance the work demands with family life by setting hard boundaries, but sometimes the work load does intrude.

If you are an experienced Journeyman or Master plumber looking to partner, I may be open to discussion.

We lost a special plumber to the area recently, and the loss is defiantly felt. (peace, Jim!)

I have pulled back from "comercial" work as it has become apparent a duo is a better service match. "Mom and pop" type business I will still service because the plumbing and heating components are often the same as the home-owner varieties, and the buildings are not large and multi-leveled.

Thank you to all my customers who continue to use and recommend my services. Hopefully, you don't have to see me too soon!

1/12/2021:  Happy new year! Business continuing to thrive, thanks to all the new folks flowing into the New England area!

Labor rates are having to go up this year, for many reasons, not just material increases. It was a tough decision, and I weighed several options, such as an initial higher "first hour" rate. I believe the simplicity, for me and my customers, of continuing to use a "flat-rate" hourly charge (for normal scheduled work) remains the best fit. Check out the FAQ page to see the updated rates.

I thank all my customers for keeping me going through 2020!

Covid-19 update:  I am open for business!
Plumbing and Heat is an "essential" business, as health and safety is our most direct concern!
Please keep your distance during my visit, and I will be taking other precautions to limit my exposure as well.
Stay safe!

3/2020: I managed to not post any updates for all of 2019!! I was very busy (Thank you to all my customers!).
I put a bunch of new photos around the site, replaced stock photos for some of my own work, and added many photos to the appropriately named "Photos" section!!

12/2018:  I apologize to any of you who visited this site and tried to use the scheduling "widget" within the last few months. I did not realize it was letting people select any time they desired as if it was available. I also didn't realize it was sending emails to this end, instead of encouraging a personal call or text, so I was basically treating the notices created by the widget as spam. Please see my "Contact" section to know how best to communicate with me. Thanks.

10/2018:  As of October I have been operating my plumbing and heat business for 10 years!! Yeah! And this has been my busiest year so far. Thank you to all my customers!
